The AVR500 is based on Arcam’s all new high definition AV platform that was crafted in Cambridge, UK over three years of intensive research and development. The outstanding reception already given to the first two products using the platform, the AVR 600 Receiver and AV888 Pre-Amp Processor, suggests that the AVR500 will also set the new world standards for audio quality in its price range.

The massive feature set provided by the bigger AVR600 is not required for every home cinema installation and so the AVR500 is able to preserve the core performance of the AVR600 by deleting some of the less used connectivity. Removing the network card for Internet Radio, streaming and IP control capability has reduced construction complexity and cost. Having gained a world class reputation for amplifier design over thirty years, Arcam now introduces the P777 multi channel amplifier for home cinema and music reproduction. Using technology honed through the development of dozens of award winning amplifiers, the P777 is the company’s highest performing multi channel amplifier yet.

Subtle detail is retrieved with startling realism even though the P777 is a true power house amplifier with huge output potential. Over 1.6 KW of continuously available power is available to drive loudspeakers with clarity, precision and control. The two oversized toroid power transformers feed the seven power amplifier channels with separate secondary windings for each channel.
